Today our nation was struck with once again another tragedy
as it seems like we do regularly every few months or so. As of 4 o’clock
central time, three bombs have gone off in the city of Boston Massachusetts.
The first two bombs happened on opposite sides near the finish of line of the
Boston marathon. The third bomb which just recently went off occurred at the
JFK Presidential Library located just about three miles away from the marathon’s
finish line. So far, as many as two have died along with thirty others injured
(not counting the most recent 3rd bomb).
It really makes me
angry that we live in such a world like this. There are people who won’t be
making it home to their families tonight due to this act of terrorism. The sad
thing is though, there’s really not a whole lot we can do about it as the cruel
people behind all these national tragedies are mentally ill. I’m not sure if
the people responsible for this attack are mentally ill but still. It’s messed
up. People were either just running 26.3 miles which takes a whole lot of
training to do, their families were there to support them and they get
attacked. My mom used to run marathons. She ran one in San Diego and another in
Minneapolis. It scares me that what if she was still running them? She may have
ran this one. And my dad probably would have gone with her. It just opens my
eyes for me to realize how lucky I am that I have both my parents coming home
tonight. My prayers go out to everyone who is and is going to be affected by
this. God bless.
Why do we live in a world where people want to hurt the innocent? These people were just running the Boston Marathon. It's not like they were going to do anything wrong. I really hate to see innocent people who have done nothing wrong killed for no reason. This is really messed up. I do not know a single reason to kill innocent marathoners, and I think whoever has done this must be pretty sick, messed up, and just be dying for the spotlight. I hope that they can find whoever did this and lock him away for a long time. I just can't imagine what kind of sick pleasure these people get out of killing other innocent people! It makes absolutely no sense to me. I hope that there will be no more deaths as a result of this, and that they can find whoever did this.
ReplyDeleteThe question always asked during these type of events is why and I am really wondering, WHY??? Why do people have to do this to others? Why can't we live in a world where we help each other instead of hurting each other? I have many questions that will remain unanswered probably until the end of time. This whole things makes me sick and angry. My heart goes out to the victims of these bombings. I don't understand why someone would set up bombs at a marathon. Those people are running to enjoy themselves and prove to themselves that they can do anything. They are completely innocent in the whole thing yet some crazy person decided to purposely hurt people. I hope that whoever did this is found and thrown in jail. He/she is sick and needs to be locked up in order to save other victims that this person may be attempting to hurt. In a world full of violence, where can the good be found? We all need to thank God that we are still living and remember those who have been killed by senseless violence. God bless the victims and please God bring peace to this world.
